What Are Chakras?
For a Balanced and Fulfilling Life
What are Chakras?
The word chakra means "wheel" or "disk" or "wheel of light" in Sanskrit Of course, no actual wheels are used to deal with a person's chakras. The "wheel" or "disk" symbolises moving living energy within you (Our life force energy - that allows us to live and to live well). Current research shows that our physical body and our aura ( our energy field around us) conducts electromagnetic energy constantly. And it is believed that you can manipulate the flow of energy to encourage healing and general wellbeing. As well as helping with reducing anxiety, worry and overcoming traumatic experiences or events.
It is known that we each have 112 chakras within the human body and 2 outside of the body. There are seven primary main chakras and 21 lesser Chakras distributed within and around the body. The chakras are an energy system, a map, intersections connecting to your body, mind, emotions, spirt and soul and to all the major nerve points that meet and where life force or "prana" flows harmoniously. Chakras are also sometimes referred to as energy centers or vortices. Each chakra is thought to resemble a colored wheel that spins in a clockwise direction, and the chakras are thought to each spin at a different rate or frequency.
Chakras are invisible to the naked eye and interconnect to our physical and spiritual selves. Each of the seven chakras is tied directly to a specific region, organ and nerve point at centre of the body. The other minor chakras are related to other areas of the body such as the hands, legs, knees, tongue, ears, elbows, shoulders, eyes and nose. It is believed that each of the chakras absorbs and filters the energy that we emit through our thoughts we have and the actions that we take and do, as well as through the thoughts and actions of all those that we come into contact with on a day to day basis. The chakras collect, store, filter and prioritises the incoming information and energy that is received every minute of every day. That is why your energy is constantly changing due to what we think, feel and behave and how we interact with others on a minute by minute basis.
When one of the chakras are out of balance as a result of negative energy flowing through it, it begins to spin too slowly or too fast. When a chakra is not balanced or in harmony, it can effect that physical region of the body and organ as well also effecting very specific aspects of our spiritual and emotional selves. Our health and the fully functioning balance of our Chakras are vital for our own health and well being, be it physical, emotional and mental. As well as our healthy interactions with loved ones around us, we each effect one another. Without our Chakra's and their balance we wouldn't be here. Life force energy is what keeps us alive and functioning. So it's vital to check in with our energy centres and create harmony and balance between them. What Are The Seven Main Chakra's?:

The chakras impact all areas of your life. Chakras are transmitters and receptors and emit energy frequencies that will match the frequency of what you receive in life. This includes what you get from others that you meet on a day to day basis. When your chakras are balanced, they are operating at a higher frequency and will attract abundance, good and healthy people, and experiences and opportunities that you have labeled as high frequency. If they are unbalanced it can show up as physical, emotional, or spiritual symptoms and issues that can also effect you and your circumstances outside of yourself. Such as negative patterns, recurring issues in your life, or ailments. Heal your hurt through chakra balancing healing and transform your life with the healing power of energy. Anything that takes us away from the natural flow of life, joy and happiness of life, fulfilment and the life that we desire to have, is a chakra blockage. Fine tuning your chakras can help to strengthen your physical body, nourish creativity, fire-up motivation, nurture your heart, inspire self-expression, clarify your intuition and help you to shine. When our energy is flowing, we feel rooted, connected and joyful. "If your life feels out of whack, so will your chakras".
The Chakras Within The Tarot:
The Chakras are closely linked to the Tarot, in the Minor and Major Arcana. As we work through each of the Chakra energies in our lives, we evolve ( or ascend) to our higher self.
The tarot helps us to understand where we are in the present, and it offers us ideas to move us forward in attracting the circumstances that we are looking for on a deeper level.
One way to discover where in our body we are holding energy and ways we can work through any issues that we have, is through one of my Chakra Wisdom Tarot Reading. Which gives you a deeper perspective, revealing where you are on your internal journey and to understand your current situation better. It can also show you what is blocking you, if any chakras are blocked and ways that you can unblock them and transform your life.
If you would like to work with your chakra energies much more and release any blockages, go ahead and book one of my Chakra Wisdom Tarot Readings to find out more...
Another way to help balance and harmonise your chakras (energy centres) is to book a distant Reiki session that works on all of your chakras, using crystals and energy healing.
Each distant reiki I set out my Chakra Mat and I tap into your energy for the distant reiki and I dowse over each chakra region on my mat (that represents your body and your energy system) with my rose quartz crystal, and I find out which areas of your energetic system which is in need of some attention and healing.
I then place specific crystals on the areas that need balancing and I then perform the distant reiki session on each of the chakras.
Near the end of the session, I will dowse again over each of the energy centres to see how they are and I will close the session. I will then message you my findings in an email, either that same day, or the day after your Reiki session, with my insights and some further recommendations.
If you would like to find out more about a Distant Reiki session with me, please check this page out or to book, just email me at email@example.com
