Lunar (Full Moon) Eclipse Reading
The lunar eclipse is on 30th November 2020. This is in 9th degree of Gemini and it's going to be an intense, powerful and interesting time. It's activating the Gemini-Sagittarius axis. Which has everything to do with the way you process information, speak your mind and seek your truth.
For me this will impact on me more as I'm born with mutable placements of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.
An eclipse of the moon occurs when the Earth lies directly between the Sun and the Moon lies in the shadow of the Earth. The lunar eclipse on 30th November 2020 is a Penumbral lunar eclipse, which is when the Moon travels only through the outer, fainter part of the Earths shadow, or penumbra. The Earth moves between the sun and moon but the three do not form a perfectly straight line. The penumbra causes only a slight darkening of the Moon's surface, with the Moon still exposed to some direct sunlight, which can be easy to miss.
Like a regular full moon, only stronger. It brings your home, finances, family, and intimate relationships into sharper focus. Emotions and instincts reach their peak on this intense lunar eclipse to help you overcome any relationship challenges. We may need to communicate our thoughts and emotions in a different way than we're used to. Eclipses are known for realigning us with our fates and changing up our current plans. It's opening new doors and situations for us all as we are all going to feel the effects of this lunation differently.
During this eclipse season I felt drawn to do a Tarot and Oracle Reading on the energy that we will all be feeling and experiencing possibly during this time. And things we may have to become aware of or areas that we could focus on more.
Check out my reading and pictures of the cards that I had pulled during the reading. It's for all of us, it doesn't matter what star sign you are and if you believe in tarot or oracle cards or not. It's the collective energy of this lunatic season.
What can we all expect to experience energy-wise during this Lunar Eclipse on 30th November 2020:
So we got The Star that fell out as I was shuffling.
Then we got The Devil, Strength card, Ace of Pentacles reversed and the overriding message card was the Two of Cups from the Tarot
We got a lot of Major Acana cards in this reading to start with. Major Arcana cards represent situations we all face in the grand scheme of life, with each carrying specific messages of perspective and guidance to help you in times of need. Major Arcana cards reveal messages about the bigger picture of your life and its long-term direction. Life lessons that we are here to learn in the physical world this time around. When the Major Arcana show up in a reading, there's something important happening. A shift of some kind, something new coming up or something old being released.
Then we got Victory, Broken Heart reversed, Adjacent Possibilities and as the overriding message from the Oracle cards we got Second Chakra Archangel Ariel
Looking at all of the cards together this lunar eclipse will be a perfect time for communication, committing to your needs, emotional needs with loved ones and friends. The energy of closeness with others and nurturing yourself. You can now open yourself to the emotional intimacy that may be coming your way. So it's really important to nurture yourself and be ready to receive the affection of the people closest to you and around you. It's about your relationships with others being positive and happy and in harmony. It's about a union and a commitment to another person and yourself also.
It's about having balance The Star indicates that you have come through your tough times with a renewed sense of yourself and the world around you, you are full of calm, well-balanced energy and you are open to healing the wounds of the past. Whatever mental, emotional, physical or spiritual issues you were experiencing are now behind you and you are ready to embrace what your future holds. Trust that the universe has a plan for you and trust the feelings you have that everything is going to be OK. You will be feeling confident in yourself and people will like you for who you are. The universe is working in your favor, and encourages you to have faith in where you are being taken.
You will or have rid yourself of addictions and habits and situations with The Devil card that have kept you trapped or kept you stuck. Addiction to substances or material pleasures can also be the reason for your feelings of powerlessness and entrapment. In situations such as these, you may feel as though you are a slave, unable to control your impulses or willpower to direct yourself towards something other than the satisfaction of these desires. You are likely feeling like you have no control and are stuck in a situation you don't want to be in. The Devil has convinced you that you have no options, but this couldn't be further from the truth. You are not being trapped by external forces, but by your own limitations or unwillingness to move forward. You hold the keys to your own freedom, but it's up to you to open the lock. You will have victory over your addictions. You will have success and it is on it's way. The achievement may be a great outer success, or a deep inner change that you've been putting in a lot of effort into. But be careful not to rest upon your laurels. You may still need some inner work to do, but have faith and trust in yourself that you can succeed and win.
You will also have the Strength and the courage to achieve your goals and what you want to remove from your life, such as addictions, habits and impulses. You will have a triumphant conclusion to a major life problem, situation or temptation through strength of character. It is a very happy card if you are fighting illness or recovering from injury or addictions.
It's your inner strength as you overcome challenges, such as inner challenges. Overcoming the obstacles we face in relation to our own doubts, fears and anxieties You are learning to master your fears and anxieties, to be courageous and daring. Mastering raw emotions in order to bring calm to yourself or a situation. You have all the skills you need to be successful, the focus now is to conquer your inner worries and believe in yourself. Be patient and compassionate with yourself and you will find a new confidence in yourself and your abilities.
This includes any issues of a Broken Heart, it's a time of renewal and hope. The pain and trauma is behind you now and you can trust that greater joy is on its way. You are now free to move on. The universe has much better things in store for you now, so finish letting go of any residual grief and open your life to your new self-loving intentions. You really have the strength to move forward with your life in positive ways now.
The Ace of Pentacles reversed shows to me that procrastination may be the major obstacle to seeing a dream become a solid reality. When goals are acted upon (and not just thought about), success follows. It highlights a hesitancy to get the ball rolling. Many times, just getting started is the most challenging obstacle to seeing your dream manifest. Don’t let anxiety and resistance psyche you out before you’ve even begun. If you take action, you will undoubtably win. If you avoid initiating the start of your project, you will surely lose. Take the steps needed to accomplish your goal, take action and make things happen. You have many unconsidered options open to you right now. Sometimes the force of habit keeps you stuck and unaware of potentially happy and healthy choices at hand. You have many options available to you now and to open a different door and take a different course of action, whether its in your thoughts, behaviours, or major life decisions.
As you consider the many life choices that are available for you, you will feel more and more empowered and motivated to make the decisions that bring happiness, strength and forward motion. Perhaps there's a connection that you haven't tapped into yet, or an entirely different direction that would be more suited to you. Be conscious, be aware, and be flexible and willing to take new and different action now.
Knowing that you already have the tools that you need such as inner strength and determination within you to move forward to positive and healthy ways into the future, you can achieve all that you set out. You just have to have faith within yourself that you can overcome hardship, pain, disharmony, confusion and the energy of feeling stuck. You have the strength and courage to move forward, you have the positive energy, the fire, the determination, just having faith in yourself and letting go of the anxiety, doubt, fear and uncertainty. You can succeed and grow during the lunar eclipse season.
